"My favorite paintings reflect the feeling of a snap-shot in time, a brief glimpse of something that I’d like to preserve and savor.  Whether plein air landscape or a studio painting of a favorite place, I want my art to not only offer a ‘picture’ of the moment but to also capture the feeling of the experience:  the heat of the sun, the bustle of the street, a gust of breeze or a peaceful stillness.  I appreciate the fact that life is constantly changing,  I hope that I can preserve a few special moments with my art."
